Dynamic History
Yesterday, our Junior Graphic Design students presented interactive prototypes at the Qatar Foundation Headquarters as part of the Qatar Dynamic History Information Platform. This project aims to link Qatar’s National historical narrative with regional and global events while fostering the development of a sense of identity unique to the nation.
As part of the initiative, students devised prototypes around the notion of collaborative and interactive features that appeal to the general public. The audience thoughtfully engaged with the student work by asking questions and providing feedback.
Throughout the project, guest visitors from Qatar Foundation were welcomed to critique and provide feedback to the students. This process also involved working closely with Peter Martin who managed and led collaborations with Qatar Foundation leadership, along with VCUQatar faculty members Matthias Determann, Dina Bangdel, and Holiday Powers.
We are looking forward to seeing where things head next!
