A Zine (Publication Design)

For this project, students were asked to design a bilingual zine. As part of the process, they considered the multilingual nature of Qatar and where the audience fits within this context. Students were required to employ their typographic skills to communicate in two languages while considering design systems, color, and hierarchy. By exploring experimental and handmade design, this project involved creating a zine structured around a social or political concept.  The zine explored unconventional approaches to images and type.
